Woodluxe was started in 2004 by Lavern Weinschenk. Lavern has worked in the design and engineering field devising both product and furniture for Hon industries, and developing complex 3 dimensional surface models for numerous other companies. Lavern has also worked directly in the construction field specializing in architectural detail and design. But woodworking has been his passion for over 20 years, getting his start in his father’s countryside wood shop as a child.
